Guided by the belief that learning should be closely connected with practice, Para values reflection, adaptability, and the determination to break boundaries and achieve continuous breakthroughs.

As a Mainland student studying in Hong Kong, Para initially encountered language and cultural barriers, particularly in Cantonese communication. Through active participation in local activities, involvement in the Honours Academy's mentorship programme, and consistent study at the University's Language Centre, Para gradually integrated into the community. Volunteering at local events further strengthened communication skills and fostered a sense of belonging. Para has also organised activities, such as Mid‑Autumn Festival games and handicraft workshops in the residential college, to support new students adapting to university life.
